Today’s post is an introduction to all of the furry family currently in my life. After reading through them all, you make think I’m a crazy animal lady…. That’s because I am! 

These animals mean everything to me and are a large contributor to my happiness in life. I have no favourites (except Daisy, of course), and they all form a piece of the puzzle that make up the Mead family.

On Leaving School.

Dropout. Loser. Dropkick. Misfit. Quitter. Failure.

These names and others are all things I’ve been called upon learning that I left school.

But the thing is, did I leave school to sit around and do nothing? Did I leave school to live at home and use the money of my parents? Did I leave school so I could sit on my ass and do nothing?

Fuck no. 

(Also sorry for the language. I’m Australian, it kind of comes with out culture.)

The 10 Worst Things About Working in Animal Healthcare

Funnily enough, no. 

I have experienced a large variety of the animal care industry, working at a zoo, and two different veterinary clinics as a volunteer, a kennel hand, and now what I am today: a veterinary nurse.

Who is Sophie?

This is my very first blog post on this site, but not the first post I have written on the internet. Shocker, right? In today’s world of social media it’s practically impossible not to have an online presence, but I’m hoping that this one will be a little different to the likes of my Facebook and Instagram. I do have a Tumblr however that one I do plan on keeping private.

As for the big question,

‘Who is Sophie?’
well now that would be me. I have a brief answer to this question over here, but I wanted a proper introduction.
